Requirements:
All of our programs offered require the following criteria to be met
- Applicant must be a member of the Association of Socioeconomic Entrepreneurs Inc.
- Applicant must have the required level of education or certificates necessary for their chosen program (i.e. Highschool diploma or Associates Degree. Specifics for each program noted below)
- Applicant must provide proof of identity. Accepted documents are as follows
- Passport
- Driver’s license or other government issued ID card
- Birth Certificate

Each program requires a different level of education in order to apply.
Program Requirements
Doctorate of Business Administration
- Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) in Business Administration or Business /Management related disciplines accepted by the American Corporate University Senate: or other qualifications equivalent to a master’s degree that are accepted by the American Corporate University College Senate.

- English Competency Requirement (international Student): International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 500 in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR 5.0 in International English Language Testing System (IELIS) OR its equivalent.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Must be a member of Association of Socioeconomic Entrepreneurs, Inc. Education level/obtained certificate(s)
- Bachelor with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
- Bachelor or equivalent but CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field; or
- Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA)
- Must be a member of Association of Socioeconomic Entrepreneurs, Inc.
- Education level/obtained certificate(s)
- Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in two (2) subjects and passed Mathematics and English at SPM level; or
- Pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in five (5) subjects and passed subjects including Mathematics and English; or
- Pass in Matriculation/ Foundation/ Foundation from IPTA/ IPTS with at least CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent qualification, or
- Qualification equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
- APEL Pathway – Candidates must be 21 years of age or older in the year the application is made, have relevant work experience to PASS the APEL assessment conducted by MQA (HEP is subject to the APEL student intake quota policy which is a maximum of 5% of the total student population at a time).
- Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian government.
The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
- Must be a member of Association of Socioeconomic Entrepreneurs, Inc.
- Education level/obtained certificate(s)
- Passed the Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) with a full pass in 2 subjects or equivalent NGMP minimum 2.0 AND pass the Certificate of Education (SPM) or equivalent with credit in Mathematics; or
- Pass the Matriculation Programme or Foundation of PPT recognized by the Malaysian Government with a CGPA of 2.0 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; or
- Pass A-Level with a minimum pass in two subjects including a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; or
- Pass the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in five subjects including Mathematics and English; or
- Diploma [Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)] in Computing or relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5; or candidates who obtained a CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process; or Diploma (Level 4, MQF) other than field of Computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
Master of Information Technology (MIT)
- Must be a member of Association of Socioeconomic Entrepreneurs, Inc.
- Education level/obtained certificate(s)
- A Bachelor’s degree with Honours from University Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with a CGPA at least 2.75; or
- A Bachelor’s degree with Honours from University Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with a CGPA less than 2.75 and relevant working experience; or
- Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the University Senate; and
- Full fill the English Language requirement as set by the University Senate
Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education
- Must be a member of Association of Socioeconomic Entrepreneurs, Inc.
- Education level/obtained certificate(s)
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two subjects or its equivalent; or
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum Grade of Jayyid; or
- A pass in Matriculation/ Foundation or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
- A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
- Any relevant qualifications recognized by Malaysian government.
